Curtis, a Michigan native raised in the greater Detroit area, cultivated a deep connection with water from an early age. He began engaging in activities such as fishing, water skiing, ice hockey and long trips on the family boat. He began working at a local marina at the age of 11, where his responsibilities included fueling, cleaning boats, helping out anywhere at the marina and there it began.
Graduating with an Engineering degree from Lake Superior State University, Curtis recognized his love of the water. He successfully departed from the corporate realm and established a management company in Florida, overseeing boat services with a keen focus on customer satisfaction. Curtis holds a USCG 100-ton Masters, USCG Great Lakes license, vessel towing credentials and is a Licensed Yacht Broker.
Leveraging his extensive experience as both a boat owner and captain, Curtis transitioned into the insurance field to guide new and existing clients in securing optimal coverage for their vessels. His expertise lies in structuring tailored coverages to meet the unique needs of each client.
He currently resides in Florida with his wife and their rescue dog named Marina. Outside of his professional commitments, Curtis enjoys spending quality time on the water with family and friends, engaging in boat restoration projects, and working around the home.
