Susan Everhard is a lifelong boater and avid sailor. She grew up in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where her parents owned a marina on Lake Winnebago. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Susan headed south to tropical Miami Beach.
Her family also founded Florida Yacht Charters & Sales, Inc., a licensed yacht brokerage, boat dealership, and charter fleet with locations in Miami Beach, Key West, and Marsh Harbour, Bahamas. After 25 years, Florida Yacht was sold to new owners.
Susan’s love of all things nautical then led her to a successful career in the marine insurance industry. Susan’s in-depth boating experience helps her find the best insurance solutions for boat owners and marine businesses alike.
She and her husband, Bob, are both USCG-licensed captains and own a charter boat in Wisconsin. They enjoy spending their summers in Wisconsin and winters in Florida, (preferably aboard a boat!)
